“Mom, where’ s my shampoo and conditioner?”

My 7-year-old daughter Mia asked as she helped me unpack during our vacation. There was baby shampoo for her baby sister, specialty shampoo for my thinning hair, and her dad’s manly-scented shampoo. Where was her shampoo? Or, her 8-year-old brother’s?

At that age, we hand our kids one of three options:

→ A cheap shampoo loaded with harsh chemicals
→ Baby shampoo they’ve outgrown
→ Adult shampoo that’s uninspiring

As their hair changes and their personalities grow greater than life, they deserve a shampoo that plays as hard as they do.

I got to work and spent two years creating a haircare brand just for growing kids and their hair needs like tangles, fine hair and short hair. The result? A magical blend of nourishing, safe ingredients that captures the essence of childhood— Captain & Skipper.
